Nowakowski has produced the only publicly available map of all existing and planned wind and solar farms in Australia. He was pilloried for exposing their massive footprint, despite it being meticulously documented. No government agency has produced anything similar. The day after the map went live Nowakowski’s computer was hacked and all of the thousands of data points that built it were stolen.
I guess trying to separate the climate lobby from its money was always going to be painful. The community groups exist on the smell of an oily rag whilst the vandals climate groups are well funded. These climate zealots are like the inquisition and brook no real discussion. It won’t make me believe in climate change or the vandalism tied to climate zealotry.
It just makes me think that they have something to hide and apply their principles only lightly. To try to stop the vandalism in certain places smacks of nimbyism.
Karl Popper is generally considered to be superseded by Kuhn because he didn’t appreciate the way that scientists don’t usually try to falsify their favourite ideas. In fact, he described four “conventionalist stratagems” that the followers of Newton used to hold off the challenge from Einstein.
First, use ad hoc or “off the cuff” explanations of apparently adverse observations, then change the definition of terms in the system, then question the experimental results and finally, cast doubt on the acumen of the critic.
The climate scientists must have read Popper because they moved from alarm about warming to “climate change” during “The Pause” after a spike caused by a big El Nino in 1998. When all the dire predictions did not happen (no more snow, no more polar bears, no more beaches) the caravan moved on to “extreme weather” which also turns out to be no worse than any other time since records have been collected.
As for casting doubt on the acumen of critics, nowadays they are simply cancelled by the people who control grants, appointments and publishing.
On a lighter note, congratulations to Chris “the Dapper Grappler” for getting into the ring to take on the inquisitors at the Senate Inquiry! Imagine a tag team of Chris and Zoe “the Elegant and Articulate” Hilton, taking on Will “Mighty Mouse” Shackel and Cristina “Equally Elegant and Articulate” Talacko. It would pack The Stadium to the rafters, if only it was still there at Rushcutters Bay!
Will Shakel as a spokesperson for Nuclear was not going to be ambushed by this committee.
He left them with egg all over their faces and only Matt Canavan really gave him credit for his resilience.
That a young man like Will cannot be silenced, is mission critical against the power of Soros, WEF and these disciples including Albanese, Bowen & now King Charles!
Using science to stop science… not very scientific… unless it’s a scam … then it makes perfect sense. Doesn’t China, India and the US have scientists too? Why are they not on the climate change crusade like Australia?
If we can do so much to affect the climate, could the Minister please ensure that we get regular rain at night so the garden and lawn can be watered and the washing can dry nicely during the day?
Well they all believe they can control the weather sp why can't they do this so as to better our lives. besides all our lovely plants that would grow more will take up more CO2 from the atmosphere.
The honest debate is not whether or not climate change is real, it is how much should Australia sacrifice to comply with global edicts and what good that would do if the USA and China do nothing. I don’t have an answer to that question but it is the one our politicians should be discussing .
It is clear from the transcript that the good Senator Ananda-Rajah is sincerely committed to her quasi-religious belief in impending climate doom. She is entitled to her beliefs, of course - but it exposes the fact that at some point in her life she must have become a devotee of the four most prominent groups of climate experts, namely: (1) the ‘$cientists’ – those infallible beings whom the talking heads of the ABC and the corporate media are always citing; (2) the ‘Celebrities’; (3) the ‘Renewables Investors’; and (4), the university-trained ‘Journalists’. The self-appointed role of these ‘experts’ is to teach us - the Common People.
All of these noble people must be right - because after all - they have the full backing of ‘the economic experts’ who manage our cash-rich Superannuation industry. Due to their commitment to making a gesture towards ‘saving the planet’, the governing boards of the Super funds must surely be complying with their fiduciary duty to always act in the best interests of their members - even if it does lead to the de-industrialisation of a dumbed-down Australia and delivers an impoverished future to our grandkids in an economy that is made up of tattoo-parlour attendants and burger-flippers – most of whom will probably sport worthless Mickey Mouse university degrees.
But history doesn’t stand still – it always tells us that what goes around comes around. This means that once the fruits of the ruinous ‘climate doom’ beliefs & policies espoused by these Senatorial and parasitical ‘$cientist’ classes reach their ultimate fulfilment, then they should expect a pitchfork political rebellion the like of which Australia has never seen before. Good luck with that Senators.
Disturbing:

Has to be an outside overseas power that is funding these groups.
Soros?
Perhaps but I don’t think there is any shortage of groups. It’s the ones who are against the vandalism that fund themselves.

Crazy!
See Lex Fridman with Avi Loeb , no. 154. You may hear science put in context.
