Excellent article, thank you. However, you did not mention nuclear power in the mix. How Germany shut down its nuclear generation fleet following Fukushima, and now looking to fire it up again, how Japan is re-opening Fukushima, and that France gets around 70% of its power generation from nuclear.

Australia has huge reserves of uranium, and ample expertise to pursue nuclear power generation, as well as arguably the safest geology in the world (in SA) for waste storage. It is bonkers to maintain the ban on nuclear power in this country.
